What’s changing
In addition to the information already captured in Voice audit logs, such as date, call source and call destination, you’ll see specific per-call performance information, including:
- Round Trip Time
- Packet Loss per 1000
- Jitter
This supplementary data can help you identify and troubleshoot potential network issues impacting call quality across your organization.
Getting started
- Admins: You can view Voice audit logs in the Admin console by going to Reporting > Audit and investigation > Voice log events. Visit the Help Center to learn more about Voice log events and Troubleshoot Google Voice call quality.
- End users: There is no end user action required.
Rollout pace
- Rapid and Scheduled Release Domains: Extended roll out (potentially longer than 15 days for feature visibility starting on May 30, 2023.
Availability
- Available to all Google Workspace customers who can use the security investigation tool:
- The Security investigation tool is available to Enterprise Plus, Education Standard, and Education Plus.
- Admins with Cloud Identity Premium, Enterprise Standard, and Education Standard can also use the investigation tool for a subset of data sources.
